Victoria and Andrew- first baby, born in hospital

Nov 6, 2016

The investment in your mind and psychological approach to birth is as important in the investment in your physical self. Both my husband and I were well prepared and informed of our options and choices in the lead up to the birth of our first baby following one to one sessions with Janet. I felt so calm and relaxed in the lead up to Lottie’s arrival and had no “first time mum” anxiety. My husband said he felt like he was well educated and knew what to expect. It changed Andrew’s perception of childbirth and the hypnobirthing allowed him to be an active support during labour. Our planned home birth didn’t go to plan due to an early bleed but the midwives and doctors fully respected my hypno-birth plan and allowed me to labour undisturbed and fully supported by my husband throughout. The whole experience was empowering and amazing and I would urge any anxious parents to be to invest in this coaching to prepare you and to enjoy Janet’s pod and cream cakes! Best wishes, Victoria and Andrew
