Thank you so much for the course this weekend, we both feel so much more prepared for our first birth. Before coming we weren’t aware of all the options we had available to us and how they might be presented on the run up to and during labor, so that insight has been invaluable.
We had some conversations on the drive back home after the course and I think we are both really confident about our preferred birth and that my husband could advocate for me and make decisions for us both when I can’t.
We even wrote a first draft of our birth plan on Monday night while all the knowledge was fresh and we’ll review it in a few weeks when we are closer to the birth and have had time to practice the techniques and go over some reading.
