Positive Hypnobirth story to inspire. When my Hypnobirthing clients have done Hypnobirthing with me for the third time! 🤩 Here is their 3rd brilliant Hypnobirthing birth story, following 2 previous amazing Hypnobirths. Birth partners have such an important role to play as the woman’s advocate. I managed to squeeze Harriet in for a relaxing reflexology treatment, less than 24 hours before she went into labour. At the end of pregnancy, this is just what many pregnant women need. Here is the birth story in their words: ❤️
“So I started yesterday morning, about 6.30 am with some uncomfortable feelings in my tummy. After a few false starts I wasn’t sure if it was definitely happening so I stayed in bed for a bit and tried to relax. About 9.30 I realised things were getting more regular. So I started walking round the house and stayed as active as possible as I most comfortable moving.
I then put Riverdawn on had a warm bath and zoned out into my own little bubble. I soon decided it was time to make our way to Helme Chase as things had really started to ramp up. We got to Helme Chase at just after 2pm and I walked round the room listening to river dawn. I got in the pool at 2.30 and progressed very quickly then, I needed gas and air at this point which I had tried not to have.
Because of how quickly I progressed I do feel like I lost control a little at one point but Jeremy soon brought me back with the stroking of my arm and some reminders of calm. Wilf was born at 3.08pm and…..
….. I then delivered the placenta about 20 mins later. Jeremy then cut the cord. I got out of the pool shortly after and had a lovely couple of hours of skin to skin whilst we tried to establish feeding. Wilf was then weighed – 8lbs 15 oz, Jeremy dressed him and we left to go home at 6.30.
It was a lovely experience overall, somewhat more intense at certain points but Hypnobirthing and breathing techniques really helped me to remain calm even when I thought I was losing control. He is just perfect. Thanks so much for all your help xx”
