Hannah and Luke, born in hospital (“predicted” big baby!)

Jan 1, 2020

“Hi Janet. It’s been a busy week (our baby boy) was born on (in December) weighing 7lb 5oz (not the big baby I was told he would be). We used the skills you taught us at every growth scan and appointment, not just in labour. We will probably use them for life.

All went well, I asked for an epidural in the end however it all went very fast 4cm to 8cm then pushing in approx 20 minutes! The epidural didn’t have a chance to work until after I had given birth, I did lose control probably for that 20 minutes but when the pushing started, Luke said I was asleep between pushes at one point 😂 the downward breaths helped and I ignored the advice to do chin on chest…….and I did it, it was amazing and I’m glad I felt every bit of it.

We got our baby and came home in time for Christmas… 🎄 Thank you for everything and we hope you have had an amazing Christmas and wishing you all the best for the new year

Thank you again for everything xxx”
