Beth and Luke, first baby, born in the pool in hospital

Apr 15, 2017

” Hi Janet, I just wanted to let you know that our little boy arrived on Tuesday afternoon safely and peacefully in the birthing pool in hospital, completely without pain relief at 41weeks +5. I was in active labour for less than an hour!

Everyone around us supported our Hypnobirth and made it a lovely experience and i know without doubt it would have all gone so differently if we hadn’t done your hypnobirthing course and we only got the birth we wanted because we were so well informed. For various reasons we agreed to an induction in the end but made that decision totally as an informed choice and not something we simply accepted but I think that in the end it made our hypnobirthing techniques all the more priceless and made would could have simply been a medical birth into a lovely experience.

I will send you a full email with all the details in the next couple of days but I just wanted to let you know the news in the meantime. Edward is very chilled out and relaxed and we are totally in love. I think you have a few extra fans at hospital as our two midwives said it was the nicest pool birth they had ever seen and I had all the other midwives popping in afterwards saying they wish they had been there to see it ?

We can’t thank you enough ❤️ xx”
