Poppy and Matt – first baby born in hospital

May 9, 2017

“Hi Janet, Please feel free to share the following or use as you wish: Our baby girl came into the world on Friday 5th May 2017 at Lancaster Hospital.

We had taken Janet’s 1:1 course a few weeks previously and planned a water birth at home, however last minute complications (A genuine medical reason), meant things took a different but NECESSARY path.

Despite the different circumstances, we still used all the hypnobirthing techniques we had learnt and practised. I can honestly say that I can’t imagine how I would have coped with the situation had I not had those tools.

I’m really proud of how I birthed our baby and one of the things that sticks in my mind is my midwife saying afterwards that I “birthed her like she was my second baby” I think this really sums up just how well prepared and in control I was and that is as much to Janet’s credit as it is to mine.

To anyone considering one of Janet’s hypnobirthing courses I would without a doubt recommend it. We have both since said numerous times how good value for money it was and just how invaluable what we learnt was.

With heartfelt thanks and all our love,
Poppy, Matt and Edie xxx

PS. We have one very chilled out hypnobaby! Xx”
