Quote following their home birth which I attended as a midwife, where Carol (my Hypnobirthing client) had no internal examinations, no “pain” relief, no stitches, who birthed her baby beautifully in 4 hours in total, Carol used her Hypnobirthing “Up” breathing, and picked her own baby up under water, with optimal cord clamping, physiological 3rd stage to birth her placenta.
Carol laboured at home and gave birth 20 minutes after we arrived, 😊 (That’s myself and my colleague midwife). All was very well. Carol’s 8 year old son was also present, who had been very well prepared in advance, he was amazing and even cut the baby’s cord 😄. Hypnobirthing really helped to prepare for their ideal birth, just how they wanted it to be.
